Floral Globes: Chrysanthemum

August 25, 2009, 00:25

It was my brother’s first day of school today, but I still have another month of summer left.

I took some photos of my summer origami models, but I want to retake them tomorrow afternoon and use natural lighting.

Today, I finished another model from Tomoko Fuse’s Flower Globes book.  This time it’s 菊 (kiku), meaning chrysanthemum, done in red and orange! Although it’s not as dimensional as the other models, I find the design really cute! Again, no pictures yet, but I hope you look forward to it! [EDITED]

Tomorrow’s origami project will be カーブ (kaabu), meaning curve! Again, from Flower Globes.

I also found a wonderful pop-up cake card template at Extreme Cards and Papercrafting, and I’m planning to make this tomorrow as well, for an upcoming birthday!
